PROGRAM
STRATEGIES
Our mandate is to effectively use the resources available to achieve the Foundation’s mission. We have identified different avenues to give back and make every penny count. We are starting with
Project AMARA.
PROJECT
A.M.A.R.A
This initiative is centred around 'Alleviating Medical needs of the Aged in Rural Areas' (AMARA), a term derived from the Nigerian Igbo language, meaning 'Grace.' Through this project, our aim is to enable the elderly population to age gracefully, particularly in terms of their health. In Nigeria, accessing quality medical care often entails private healthcare, which is financially out of reach for many.
Our goal with this project is to conduct annual free medical outreach programs in rural areas to provide essential services to the elderly. These outreach programs will include complimentary eye examinations, general health 'MOT' checks, and the provision of necessary medications. We aspire to make this an ongoing, yearly effort.
