ABOUT
EIRENE FOUNDATION

The Eirene Foundation was established with a commitment to aiding the less fortunate in Nigeria, particularly those requiring medical assistance. Our core mission is to extend relief and support to individuals in need of healthcare, education, and income generation assistance in developing nations, beginning with Nigeria.

Our Story

The Eirene Foundation was established by Dr. Nnamdi Joseph Obike and his wife, Dr. Uche Peace Okorji-Obike. Their shared passion for healthcare, empowering the vulnerable, and promoting education, played a significant role in bringing them together. This shared commitment resonated deeply with them, and they had often discussed taking action to address this calling in their hearts. In the current year, they recognized the urgent need to step out of their comfort zones and initiate their journey.

Dr. Nnamdi received his medical training at the University of Port Harcourt in Nigeria. He is a highly skilled medical doctor with eleven years of clinical practice experience in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. His approach to patient care is centered around prioritizing the well-being and concerns of patients. Dr. Nnamdi has actively volunteered in numerous medical outreach programs, providing free medical care to those in need, following the completion of his medical training. He is enthusiastic about giving back through the foundation.

Dr. Uche Okorji-Obike earned her BSc in Pharmacology from the University of Aberdeen, an MSc in Drug Discovery from the University of Bradford, and a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Huddersfield. She currently works in the field of bio-pharmaceutical development within the pharmaceutical industry, supporting the development of new treatments. She is also the author of "Thrive Allergy Free… Journey to a Life Unlimited by Food Allergies" and the founder of "Tots2teens Allergies," a platform focused on educating, encouraging, and supporting parents, caregivers, and children affected by allergies, particularly food allergies.
